Evaluation
The Center provides evaluation assistance and support to prevention efforts on campus and in the community. Center evaluation services include:
- Information and assistance with evaluating campus and community alcohol and other drug abuse and violence (AODV) prevention efforts
- Learning opportunities for campuses looking for in-depth training on implementing or refining AODV evaluation efforts
- Publications on evaluation theory, selecting a program evaluator, and evaluating prevention efforts
- Online information describing the role evaluation plays in a sound strategic planning process
- Research summaries of the latest data and peer-reviewed research related to AODV:
- Recently published literature compiled on a monthly basis that feature citations of the latest relevant research
- Literature reviews that capture literature relevant to evaluating AODV prevention programs on campus, including identifying promising campus-based AODV prevention programs or strategies
- Annotated bibliographies that compile years of literature reviews into one readily accessible document
