Specific Drug Information

College students historically have used a variety of drugs other than alcohol for their recreational use to “get high.” Additionally, in recent years students have been using prescription drugs for the purpose of supporting their academic performance. This section of the Web site addresses several of the substances commonly used by college students as indicated by national data such as those reported in Monitoring the Future and other reports.

This section of the Center's Web site presents several of these drugs individually, along with a subsection devoted to drugs considered among the “date rape” and “club drug” classification.
